Bombora has been awarded a CAESIE grant to assist with the development of its wave energy converter. CAESIE is a bilateral partnership initiative programme between the European Union and Australia. The priming grants are specifically targeted to establish science and technology collaboration and partnership between small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and researchers (in Europe). Horizon 2020, is Europe’s flagship initiative aimed at securing global competitiveness. Running from 2014 to 2020 with a budget of just over €70 billion, the EU’s new programme for research and innovation is part of the drive to create new growth and jobs in Europe.
