Project InSPIRE has commenced.
Bombora entered into an agreement with Technip FMC to develop a floating offshore wind foundation incorporating Bombora’s mWave.
This partnership marries strong marine offshore engineering heritage with ground breaking multi-MW wave technology.
The 2 Phase InSPIRE project will see the development of:
PHASE 1 DEMONSTRATOR – 12MW combined mWave (4MW) and wind turbine (8MW) on a shared floating platform.
PHASE 2 COMMERCIAL – 18MW combined mWave (6MW) and wind turbine (12MW) on a shared floating platform.
